JetSmarter, which was established in 2012 to make a private airplane hire, took the $ 105 million Series C investment and raised its value by 1.5 billion dollars.
In 2015, Jay-Z and the Suudi Prince had a $ 20 million Series B investment in JetSmarter. In the past 2 years, things have gone well, JetSmarter in Series C has managed to face a bigger investment. The new investment tour came from a fund based in Abu Dhabi, a global private aviation company JetEdge, London-based KZ Capital and another Qatar-based fund. Strategic investors are not allowed to mention their names and they are participating in this tour.
JetSmarter serves in 50 different countries around the world. He wants to continue the venture growth aimed at those who want to fly with private jet for business or tourism purposes to cities like New York, Chicago, Atlanta, London, Paris, Moscow, Duba, Milan and Istanbul. JetSmarter founder and CEO Sergey Petrossov said they aimed to list flights between 80 and 100 countries by the end of 2017. The company aims to link more cities across the US.
